|Cosmetic tattooing, also referred to as permanent makeup or micropigmentation, is a semi-permanent tattooing procedure to enhance or perfect specific features, such as lips, eyes, eyebrows, scalp, etc.
How long does it last?
|The longevity of a cosmetic tattoos depends on a variety of factors, including the method of application, the product used, the aftercare and lifestyle of the client, etc.

|Although there can always be complications with invasive procedures, it is safe and comfortable when provided by a professional, qualified technician.

What are the admission requirements?
|As a professional development and skills upgrading program, admission is granted to professionals in the esthetics and beauty industry or related occupations as defined by Canada's National Occupation Classification Code (N0C 2016/NOC 2021).
What is included in each course?
|Each course includes all supplies and insurance coverage throughout the duration of training, all supporting material, an official Micro-Pigmentation Centre certificate, lunch buffet each training day, and ongoing online support.
Is there financing or a payment plan?
|Yes, financing is available through MEDICARD.
What will I achieve with certification/graduation?
|A certification from the Micro-Pigmentation Centre Academy ensures a competitive edge to begin or grow a successful career in the lucrative beauty industry. Students will graduate with the knowledge, skills, and experience to perform professional procedures right away.
Are there accommodations for out-of-town students?
|Yes, Micro-Pigmentation Centre has partnered with several nearby hotels for student accommodations and travel. Special hotel rates are available, as well as transportation to / from the airport and academy.
What procedures can I use Micro-Pigments for?
|The Micro-Pigments line boasts 83 colors for cosmetic and medical tattooing with specific-procedure specialized colors such as the Signature Collection©, Pure & Vivid Collection©, Microblading Collection©, Crown Collection©, MED Collection©, and Harmonizer Collection©.
Do the pigments need to be modified?
|Micro-Pigments© can be used on their own or can be combined with another color and/or harmonizer pigment.
How long will the pigment last?
|As with all pigment, the tattoo will inevitably fade over time and a maintenance touch up will be required within 4 to 10 years time, depending on skin type.
Are the pigments vegan & cruelty free?
|All pigments are free from animals nor tested on animals. All pigments are formulated with certified colorants.
What are the ingredients in Micro-Pigments?
|Iron oxide based pigments, also known as inorganic, are used in the manufacturing of all of our eyebrow and eyeliner pigments, as well as some of our lip color pigments. Organic based pigments are brighter and more vibrant in color compared to an iron oxide base.
Is there training specific to Micro-Pigments?
|Yes, Micro-Pigmentation Centre founder Pat Shibley-Gauthier hosts an advanced world-renowned color theory class, 'Color Through the Skin'.
